Circuit City Prices

Has anyone been to Circuit City lately to see how low their prices have gotten? Or anyone get any great deals yet?

i went about a week ago to check out the tv i just bought from frys....its still priced higher

I was in there yesterday. To be honest what a crock! ALthough if I was a manager / director there, I would want to sell all I had at the highest price, and then bring them down gradually as we got closer to liquidaiton. This is the business side of the transaction.

From the consumer side - what a crock! The only thing that was a good deal was that all big screen were about $250- 400 off. And some home audio had some lower prices. Other than that. No more inventory, and most things are still as expensive as they would be if they were not going out of business. For example a pair of basic headphones was still $50! Are you kidding me!

So in summary. I wouldnt even go. Pretty much a waste of time.

ours has blueray dvd's for $20...other than that...no deals...i was hoping for a 50" panny plasma deal...i pulled out my iphone and found 10 retailers online with better pricing and no sales tax

Went to the one near me a week ago.

Place was completely ransacked. Only things left were random ear buds, shit boombox stereos, music cd's, and some poor quality computer LCD monitors.

They might of had 1 tv there.

that seems to be the general consensus. yea I was looking to get an samsung hd lcd but it doesn't sound like its really worth taking the trip to the store.

Circuit City is a joke, that's why they went out of business, shit on liquidation is still more expensive that online regular price...

sad thing is, there are some dumb asses who actually think these are good prices cuz they see that big "markdown" but then they go home and see prices online they slap themselves on the forehead, then slap again after they realize they can't return it...

i went today to check it out the samsung 52" model is 650 (LCD)
the price says less 30% and you pay less than 2K

check it out on BB and the regular price is 2100

silly...

These guys mark it up like crazy and say it's on sale, but it's actually not. It's practically the same price after discount. Plus no refunds.. wtf.
