128i BMW Performance Exhaust
Part Number: 18102208804 I purchased this and had it installed on 4/18 and my wife is not a fan... it's too loud for her taste so I went back to the stock exhaust 4/21. It has less than 150 miles on it and is basically new. There are no signs of any wear other than where the part was fitted to existing pipe. It will come with the original clamp as well. Fortunately I asked the dealer if I could keep the packaging it came in so it is ready to ship. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose... Last edited by IndyBMW; 04-22-2014 at 10:25 PM.. My wife didn't like it either, but it does get noticiably quieter after a few weeks (maybe it's psycological?).

hmm... based on some of the other threads most seemed to think it got louder! Now I wonder if I should wait a little longer?
I guess I will see if anyone is interested in buying it before I swap it out again. Thanks for all the input! |

http://realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?p...ur=&series=E82 The PE for the N54/N55's use the same Perf Exhaust, though - and it has a y-pipe to delete the mid pipe resonator. http://realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?p...ur=&series=E82 The PE really isn't loud. At least at part throttle. At WOT its loud. Once you put a few thousand miles on it... the sound will become more "mellow" deeper. I LOVE my PE on my 135i!
