Should I withdraw all the money out of my 401(k) before the stock market crashes?

You should do the exact opposite of that.

After the MOASS, those of us who held should host a BBQ for those who doubted. It's the gracious thing to do.

That's pre-tax money. You're gonna get butt-fucked.

I've done that. I feel you.

Got in at $11 yesterday on CLOV.

You may be better off buying some OTM $SPY puts if you believe the market will crash sometime soon in order to hedge the risk.

Up 100% on clov. Missed the boat on wish. I got an early notification as it was just starting to run, but didn't like that the options were already expensive. Thought I was too late. Ha, that was a mistake. Had I jumped in then it would have been almost 300%. Still hoping BB does something tomorrow or Thursday. .

I think the AMC windfall is going to make its way to IMAX so in the stock and a few call options contracts.

I'm in it for the long term. I bought in during the initial IPO so my plan is to hold for a while.

Being somewhat of a novice investor (began late 2020), I’ve invested in Hertz and they’re supposed to exit Chapter 11 late this month. I’ve made a good profit so far but need advice on what to do next.

1. Do the shares I have automatically transfer over to the new corporate structure?
2. Or do I have to sell my shares and invest in the new structure?

You CLOV options folks... How long to you plan to hold the options after you buy? Are you looking for a certain percentage profit, or do you play the chart? I'm finding that I paper hand more than I'd like, but some profit is better than a loss. I use a combo of RSI and weighted moving average to signal when to buy and sell.

at one point today my total account value was over $50k
double my initial deposit of $25k from January
mostly thanks to GME

i'm not getting off this train anytime soon

i have GME across 4 other accounts but TW has the most shares
the gain so far is enough to buy a nice Rolex watch or 2 ...
next target is RS6 Avant money

the dream is to buy a house. in Los Angeles. yea, that's a big dream

Good then stay long on the stock and buy put options against it as a hedge if you feel it is going to head back down. If you still have cash to play with look to the next IPO or something more stable like an ETF

Thank you I will stay put then. Stock spiked today on a merger with a battery company so may be fun to watch what it could do long term.

Jim Cramer on CNBC just said GME's Ryan Cohen should go big with GME (crypto, banking) and then it can go to 400/share. Less than 2 months ago he said he cant justify 50+ for the stock.

The meme investing game is changing minds

he will say anything as long as it pays to say it
the trend is meme stocks and the rollercoaster that stocks like GME and AMC are on so he has to talk about it

and $400? he's setting a low ceiling

Cramer is shill.

GME conference call went good. Didn't watch but apparently there was some confirmation of naked shorts against the stock. i'm anxious about earnings after close, fingers crossed.

I get the sense from this thread that most people responding are day traders/short-term traders. That's a risky investment lifestyle for most.
