Hello I'm new here,
I bought my 2011 e93 from a dealership, and have never had my aux work, my usb does though. I am wondering if anyone has been able to resolve this issue. I checked to make sure that behind the aux is plugged in and where the wire connects 1 foot down the cord. I bought a replacement with the cord, and the usb connects just fine but not the aux. I can't find where the Aux cable connects too. Everything else works just fine; radio, flashdrive music, BT calls.
I believe I have a CIC, BT calls, No BT music.

Depending on the options the Aux can come from a module in the rear of the car
and since you have a late model that would be the combox. (or mulf 2 hi )

option that is associated with usb and the aux coming from the combox are
6FL.

You can tell which options you have by going to Mdecoder.com and inputing
your VIN the Idrive/Radio option are listed in the 6xx range.

It important that you list if you have idrive or normal radio and which stereo
system you have, this is not which head unit you have.
Base audio system , Hi Fi system or Top Hi Fi aka Logic 7

Which usb are you refering to there is one in the glovebox for Map updates and loading
music into the Idrive and another in the center console for USB flash drive music and
some other stuff.

Hello again,
I have the S609, Navigation System Professional, and the S688, Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System. I do have an iDrive screen as well. I was referring to the usb in the center console, but both usb's work.

The usb in the center console generally comes from a module
in the Trunk as well as the Aux if you have the 6FL option.
