Information on JB4 G4

I recently traded vehicles and have found myself with an 08 335xi, its equiped with the JB4 G4 and has the SpeedDL and a few other options. I do not however, have any information on how to access the menus or even what the menu options are. Does anyone have the older software to attach my laptop to the JB4 G4? Or at the very least a list of menu options? Any help would be great everyone I've talked to in person says to upgrade which I will do but its not in the cards yet I have other things I need to take care of first and just need help using what is already installed on the vehicle. Thanks in advance

They function very similar in the steering controls and menus. G5 is just a little different internally and naturally the map updates cater to the G5.

I think that the g4 board is not supported any more ( no more updates ). You can use the same commands that are listed

SLD http://burgertuning.com/support

As far as CPS, that is some old stuff. You don't really need to use CPS unless you are going for something specific in your ignition timing.

At that point you should just do yourself a favor and get a better tune off the bat. CPS offsetting is a poor way of controlling ignition timing. It's not supported any longer.

Ok so basically all I really need to know is if someone has the older version of the software so I can at least read codes and maybe a list of the menu options for the G4 so I'm not taking shots in the dark

$150 upgrade to the G5 from burgertuning, current firmware support, up to date hardware, problem solved! Better performance too!

There is a separate command list for the G4 board.. You are right its no longer supported but still functions well.
