the problem with this sport is they need to get rid of the offsides rule so there's more scoring. This is the only way Americans (U.S.) will get interested in soccer.

When three total goals between two teams during 90+ minutes of watching is considered exciting, then you can see why Americans don't really care about the sport.

I disagree. The sport is already lacking scoring. It would just mean defenses would need to adjust. Can you imagine an offsides rule in basketball?

On a separate note, the U.S. team keeps blowing opportunities. We really don't deserve to make it to the next round.

The rest of the world is ok with the way soccer is now; why would they even consider changing the game completely for Americans who, for the most part, don't give two shits about the sport?
