Stupid. Does nothing. Typical for those who claim to care about the environment. If they actually wanted to make an impact they'd use less lighting throughout the year, not turn it all off for a single hour.

I'm sure it has a small impact.. it's pretty hard to ask a group of company's to use less lighting throughout the year.
It's probably just for publicity and to bring light on the issue anyways, I doubt the idea is to save a ton of energy.

yea well turn off the lights off is a good start i guess... but i think the CO2 that's coming out of our exhaust hurts the earth more than turning off a few lights

didn't this reminds us the spam email telling everyone do not go to gas station and fill up for one day....so the oil companies will lose billions a day???
