Hey MCB,
I hope you never want to share any files across the network between your laptops, because I don't think you can with Vista Home. You'll be using the old sneaker-net to do that. |

Umm, if you guys talk to the students at a local university you might be able to get around even more cost. I know at the University of Iowa XP, Vista and Office for Mac and PC all sell for $8 flat. Only restriction is a full time student has to purchase it and they can only purchase one of each per year.
Most big schools will have a similar deal... just a heads up.
