I'm just trying to figure out what would make a new ipod worth the trouble when its nearly identical to the one we've had for such a long time. The ipod touch and iphone are a bit different because of their interfaces. But this new ipod nano is just the same ol' thing. Only with more available colors?

And the price isn't that far off a iphone, depending on what your current cell phone bill is.

Btw, a bigger screen is a moot point on a ipod nano. The screen is so small, even if it was 50% bigger that is only like a half inch in actual measurable size. You don't really need to see 10 lines of song titles any more than the 5 or 6 you can see currently. You still only play them one at a time.

What's the point of iPods anymore...just buy an iPhone and call it a day. (I actually still use my iPod video for listening to music in my car, only because I don't have the iPhone aux adapter).

iphone FTL. touchscreen keyboard, mostly. can't stand it. i write too many emails and text messages not to have a full keyboard. sure, it may be cool to show your friends how you can use your iLightSabre to joust your friends invisibly, but if you don't really care for that stuff, iphone is just a child's toy. all the iphone is is a giant money making marketing ploy, along with most apple products. its not "revolutionary" its just another pda phone with gizmos like accelerometers and a touch screen. if you've ever been somewhere where you don't have access to a computer and need to answer an email with more than a 5 word response, you know what i'm talking about. just my 2 cents.

I write a ton of texts too, but I've gotten somewhat used to the touchscreen.

I almost went to a Blackberry, but I just cannot do without the great interface, calendar, and internet.

I will agree though, typing is much easier on full keyboard.

There are definitely advantages and disadvantages to both.

the screen is actually bigger and there's now an accelometer. which means you can get the dynolicious app which is pretty cool imo.

at first i was just getting the iPhone cuz it looked cool...i actually have grown to like the user interface. i send 10,000+ texts and i've gotten used to texting on it. I hate texting on my old blackjack now lol

Btw,If i didn't get the iPhone i would have definitely got the Blackberry Bold.
