I dont personally know the guy, but I felt compelled to look out for the automotive community as a whole so I posted it. How can anybody expect to stay in business after screwing somebody over like this?? here's his info.

man looking at them pics again pisses me off SO MUCH! you dont even have to be an expert to avoid some of the shit those guys done to the car!

Such a shame. The guy has a simple kit and wheels which suit the Z very much. I've seen people with all sort of junk on the Z and it looks crap. Really hope he gets this sorted!

Did you not read the part that said his kit was a replica kit he bought for like $250?

Actually when I look at it again it doesn't look that bad. He didn't strip any of the screw heads and he put the paint on nice and thick.

He was quoted at $250 for the install, not for kit.

And here's his picture.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2015/...7789035d80.jpg

You can tell by looking at this picture the guy is not detailed oriented.

1. You need to use, at the very least, an organic mask to spray. Those isos will kill ya slowly.
2. he's painting in street clothes? Why is this bad? lint and dirt from his street clothes will get onto the paint. Also his clothes may flap into the paint since it's loose clothing.
3. looks like he's fanning the spray gun, but it's difficult to tell since it's a still pic.
4. The spraying distance seems a tad high.
5. most good painters clean their guns right after use. Look at his gun's cup - it's dirty. If he was detailed oriented he probably would have a clean looking used gun.

His masking job looks ok though. I'm sure someone else can spot other stuff he's doing wrong....

That is really, really bad. Unimaginable actually. Can't believe he actually used screws to attach it. Might as well use globs of Elmers glue.
