FS: 2009 335xi Msport Sedan 6mt ($14k+ in mods)
First of all I want everybody to know I do not need anyone to comment on my price. Believe me I have been around here long enough that I know exactly what these cars are worth and what I can get for mine. Second, this is a feeler. I am mostly making this thread so it is there when i'm ready to really sell it since I have spare time to put it together right now. I am planning on putting the car up for sale late August and if I can get the price I want, great, but if not I will just hold onto it. The only reason I am selling the car is because I will be spending the next four years at school in Dallas, TX. I think shipping it there is unreasonable and so is letting the car sit in the garage on blocks with a battery tender for the majority of that time. Price: As of now I am looking to get $30,000 for the car with the majority of the mods. A few things like the wheels I might keep but that will be discussed with the buyer if they are serious. If I do decide to part out the car I will probably sell it at the Blue book value which is $22,000 right now. I think the car is worth the blue book value even stock because it is extremely rare to find a E90 sedan with AWD and a manual transmission. I spent months looking for this car and it took forever to find since almost nobody buys awd manual e90's. Mods: Like i've said the car has a ton of mods done to it and I think it is the perfect balance of show and go. I have daily driven this thing for two years and love it. Full mod list is below and i'm pretty sure it is up to date. Over $14,000 (price I paid) of mods on the car and over $18,000 (retail for parts) of aftermarket parts on the car. Quote:
Details of car: Honestly like I said i've daily driven this thing for the last two years and I love it to death. I am going to be extremely sad to see it go but I think it is the smart option. I think if someone buys the car as is it is perfect for them to add a single turbo and make crazy power with an AWD car. In terms of options the car has Msport front and rear bumpers added by me, cold weather package, and sports package. Car also has navigation and DVD in motion coded in. The interior is in great condition and has been detailed by me twice a year. Exterior is also in great condition since the paint was detailed just a few months ago, however, the car has a vinyl wrap on it now and that was done by myself. Since it was done by myself it is possible the paint underneath has minor scratches from cutting the vinyl although I was pretty careful with my cuts. The vinyl job also isn't perfect again because it was done by myself but it is a good job. For a car with 65k miles I think it is in great shape. Maintenance done by me (bought the car with 48k miles. I have the service history of the previous owner too): Quote:
-possible scratches from cutting vinyl -normal rock chips from a car this old/miles -Silver ring on shift knob is a bit scuffed -m3 wheel is pretty old so not in great shape -clutch makes a weird squeaking noise until you press in all the dead space. Working on figuring this out now but does not affect performance at all -Rear floormat stained by previous owner with what looks like coffee Video of car: Pics: Look to my build thread for up to date pics of interior/exterior but here are a few quick ones. Again I want to remind everyone my main reason putting this up is cause I had time to type all of this today. I am in no rush to sell the car and honestly don't even really want to until the end of summer. When that time comes I will add even more details and pics of everything as it is right now including interior, engine bay, etc. If anyone has any questions at all PM me and i'll get back to you quickly and very honestly. Thanks for looking 5/11/14 Updated Interior pics Going to wait until my new headlight setup is in and I have time to wash the car to take all the exterior pics but here is interior. Pics of every defect I noticed. Like I said steering wheel is old, passenger front door handle I broke and glued, and rear driver mat is stained with something. I also noticed the rear passenger door is missing the white piping trim so it must have popped out... I'm gonna keep an eye out for it but worst case can buy more for $20. Anyways here are the pics Driver side rear carpet stain (bought the car with this): (I tried removing the plastic handle and it broke so glued it back. Looks terrible but I haven’t minded it. Already looked into replacing and you can buy a whole new door panel for around $100 on ebay then just swap it in if you are that concerned) Update 5/26/14: Finally took exterior pics. Below are pics of the car and every defect on the vinyl I can see. Something to note is these are temporary DEPO loaner headlights from OSS designs. My headlights are there being customized right now and will be back hopefully first week of June. Will update with pics of those when they're back. Vinyl Defects (Again this was my first time wrapping a car ever. I am confident if I were to do it again it would be pretty much as good as a professional wrap job as I have now watched how a few do it. Extra 1k and I will wrap the car any color you want. I could also just remove the vinyl and take it back to space grey if preferred): This I just noticed yesterday… Someone must have hit the car in a parking lot which sucks but the good news is it looks like the vinyl took all the damage and the paint appears to be fine.:

Aw, man. Had to read through the whole OP. This is definitely my favorite e90 by far. Always loved following the build.
If anybody picks this up, they'll be getting one hell of a car. |

Easily my favorite e90 on the forums, I drooled over this build thread as this car was evolving. GLWS bud, somebody will definitely be getting a gem.

Hahaha if nobody buys it i will eventually do a single turbo. If it does sell i think im gonna buy a used already modded b8 s4 with a dsg transmission. Dsg will let other family members drive it and that car also has a much more updated interior and whatnot. Like i said though if it doesnt sell i will wind up keeping it and maybe ST in the future
