I never really got the Wagon appeal. Seems like a ton of people have boners for wagons, but I never really felt the same. That said, it's still a good looking car and would be a hoot to drive.

I had an original Audi Allroad and it was awesome. The amount of stuff I could fit into that thing was incredible and it was still pretty fast. |

If you're a track rat obviously the wagon isn't the ideal choice, but if you have a sporty life (kayaks, bikes, snowboards, skis, etc) or kids with lots of gear and you want to have one car to do that stuff but also a little auto-x / track work a few times a year it seems like a great vehicle.

If they made an F81, that would hands down be my choice for my next car. I'd sell everything I have an consider having that as my only car (currently have 3).

Thus why F81 would be PERFECT.

I'm not arguing the practicality aspect of them. Heck, I drive a Volt and love that I can fit 8' 2x8s in it if needed. Just for me, the aesthetics of the wagon don't really appeal to me compared to a sedan or coupe. But I acknowledge its a subjective opinion and there really isn't a right or wrong here.

Wagons usually weigh a few extra pounds and have it up high, but also tend to have more weight over the rear wheels too. I'm in the F81 camp too, I'd sell the DD and the toy to have one car that can do it all.

it's rare, but I spotted one the other day too, in brown no less
it's the only one I've seen so far in AMG trim, and I've maybe seen 2 or 3 non-AMG E wagons
