Weather in SoCal in February?

What's up guys and girls? I'm planning a Birthday trip for my g/f and I to visit S. California in February and I was wondering what the typical weather is like mid-february? I've been to Cali. numerous times since I have lots of family there but always in the spring and summer months. I will be taking her to Disney, Universal and head down to San Diego for Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. Maybe a week or a bit more. I googled it but would rather get answers from my fellow board members that actually live there.
Now with all that said, I do have another reason for taking her out there in the long cold winter months we have here in the nyc. I would like her to see how great the weather is in SoCal in the middle of winter so we could possibly re-locate in a yr and a half or so . I took her out there last Dec. for my bros. wedding and she loved it but it really doesn't get that cold here until late Dec. to January and I dread it every year Thanks

Yeah it does tend to rain in February, but I think if you are here for a week then you might get the best of both, a little rain, and a little sunshine. Usually the rain is the beginning of the month always on my B-Day weekend ftl!

Thanks guys. Man I took her out there last december for a week and it rained maybe half the time we were there.. lol i was like WTH? I was bragging for months on how nice it would be 70's and maybe 80's and sunny and we had lots of rain. ha ha. But we did have some really nice days. Funny thing is the week we left, the weather was suppose to be really awesome. It'll probably be mid february so I'll even take half the days being sunny and mild.. Heck anythings better than 30-40 deg. with a windchill of god knows what.

We get about 15 days of rain here a year, lol.

Since you're in NY and probably used to the snow, you can bring shorts here and still be OK.

I believe February is the wettest month of the year for us, but it's usually not that bad. If you are here for a week or so, it may rain one or two days, but I think it's just as likely it will be 70 degrees and sunny for your entire stay
