After Titanic, there was no movie released that didn't feature him somewhere...

then he just faded into the background, emerging every couple of years for a movie and disappearing.

Since Titanic came out in 1997, he's done 11 films. Any of my friends who are actors would give thier left arm to work at that level for 12 years. He's been nominated a couple of times for Acadamy Awards and has banked and ass load of money. When you say he's not A list do you mean you don't see him in tabloids alot? I'm completely at a loss to what you are trying to say.

Edit: and he's in the top 20 highest grossing actors of all time.
