Unless you're getting paid to drive a specific brand, this brand loyalty thing is quite stupid. There are lots of good cars from plenty of manufacturers. It doesn't make any sense to always keep driving the same brand for the rest of your life.

This.

I've owned about a dozen cars and never had the same brand twice.

I say get it! It's a cool looking car, I would consider one if I was looking for a new car right now. This is a BMW forum, so you're bound to find lots of people who think anything not a BMW or Porsche is crap.

You can get a base for 29k... And it's a Japanese car, you get to keep it for at least 100k...

OP, if it were me I would buy used as some suggested. Nothing wrong with new but you could save the money on used and buy the mods. You don't have to go FI on enjoying the car. Get the intake, exhaust, Uprev tune and change the final drive, you got a killer machine. Reliable and less headaches compared to some German cars.
The only problem with the 370z is that it feels like you're sitting in a bathtub and its hard to see the sides. But that was just my experience. Even the g37 is not bad at all if you want the backseat and and the same above points apply to it.
Either way, get the sports package on either car or Nismo. Handling is way better than 135i and 335i, even with sports package.
I own a G37 coupe with sports package and a BMW 335i M-sport.

You are going to drive the car, and if you like it and are content, that is the most important thing. Don't mind what 'fanbois' think. It is not that there are really bad cars to chose from.

370 will be a super fun car. They are also very capable on the track. But there is a CPO M3 ZCP at BMW of San Diego right now.......

That is sexy as F&*^%$! Nice job man! That's what it's about. Make a car that stands out from the rest. Who cares what badge it carries really.

get what you want an enjoy it!

just my 2 cents, I don't like the 370z body because its been used for many years now. I think the 370z at this point is outdate from technology point of view. Is a new model coming out soon?

I'm with you, but that's just one example.

Gotta pay to play for a CPO SoCal vehicle.
