I was just throwing out further bad ideas. If the OP is really just dealing with private land, not gov't land, than aside from the trespassing or whole getting shot thing, then this isn't as comical as if we were talking about gov't land, which had the potential to be epic kinds of funny.

I dunno... i don't really see an airfield there. Flat land maybe....
if you pan around on the map there are oil rigs on the other side of the hill and a strip mine. Maybe its an executive runway for the oil field or something. LOL. |

Except for whoever owns it probably could be held legally responsible if someone gets hurt there, though if you have to pop a chain to get in maybe not.

I wish I owned a private airport even if its inactive. I would have so much fun driving there. I'd let everyone in and make them sign a wavier saying I am not responsible for your problems.

The first few runs down the runway your going to kick up ton of little rocks/debry on the runway. Be careful with all of that crap on the tarmac for the first few run. I have done this before haha.

Woulda been funny if he had tried that on Pendleton, with all the tank crossings and all.... You can really get lost on that base. I was there for a while and still didn't know where I was sometimes. They do hold events at El Toro; I've been to a couple. Isn't there a shit load of depleted Uranium there though? |

No the ammo they used in aircraft I believe. It's sweet for piercing armor. Dunno if it was just a rumor or what, but when we had events there, they told us they'd have to do all kinds of HazMat stuff if we left the course due to the amount of depleted Uranium in the soil.

no, even if they hopped the fence, cut the locks etc...you will still be liable. That's why you don't want anyone tresspassing on your property even if you havent used it for years....

I am 98% sure its a non active slab of road, its covered in dust and stuff at the moment because its super windy out here and there is obviously no traffic on it to keep it clean.
