Interesting thing happening between Nescafe and 9gag.

Back story:
Brother asks for likes from 9gag for crippled brother's Nescafe competition. Nescafe bans brother for hacking or altering the likes refusing to give him the prize.

Story posted in 9gag, 9gag bombards Nescafe and Nescafe Hungary with insults, threats, etc.

CNN and Associated Press take on the story, Hungarian Department of Commerce is notified.

Nescafe stocks drop.

Pretty interesting to see the internet at work. Even if the stock prices aren't true, pretty interesting to see that CNN took on the story and Nescafe had to close down the facebook page.

Could it be that someone on 9gag actually set up a bot to "like" the boy, and that is the reason Nestle shut it down?

Could be? I dont know but judging from the comments and the amount of responses, I don't think so. Nescafe already apologized to the family and are trying to work a deal out.
