Beautiful San Diego!

I was with my girlfriends on saturday and we went up to Mt. Soledad in La Jolla to take a few shots.

PS - ignore the date on the last shot, i forgot to reset it. In one of the shots you can see downtown san diego, of course our downtown is relatively embarrasing compared to other cities, but its still sweet. And the hills behind downtown is Mexico. Its about a 35 min drive

Hmm, the water didn't seem so blue when I was there like 10 years ago. I guess its the pacific though. I didn't realize mexico was so close, is that like Tijuana? My cousin used to live in La Jolla. It was really nice and the weather was really beautiful there.

In the 7the pic is kinad where i live. I live across from the bay. So im about 10 mins from the ocean. La jolla is beautiful, and yes that is TJ mexico, but those hills are farther inland mexico

That is why I am the only one in my family that has moved away.

But, had to go where my career led me.

I love to visit...but most likely, I will never live there again.

I was in Bonita visiting parents two days ago. San Diego has changed so much in the past few years. Even National City's mile of cars has been redone. Everything looks so much nicer than what I remember it to be like.

yes, Mt Soledad is the one with the huge cross on it. It's a gorgeous place to go to on a clear day. You can seriously see for miles all around. It's been such amazing weather here lately it's ridiculous.

Yes mt Soledad is where i was, its about a 10 min drive from my house, theres a big debate right now about removing the cross which i think is horseshit.

I hate the rain. I was outside doing my walking lunges and it went from sunny to GROSS in like 20 mins. Rain should be here any min

CA is overrated. After living here for a while you'll rarely hit up the beaches unless you are an avid surfer/boarder. Too crowded, most beaches are dirty with tons of littered beer bottles, cigerette butts, wrappers, and dog shit.

Also, we don't get any snow here. If you have any fondness for the art of skiing or snowboarding, we miss out quite a bit of that and even driving a couple hours away to the closest "so cal" resort, it's pretty lame with just 12 inches of base snow. In Tahoe the base is 30 feet. Tahoe is 6-7 hours trip.

San Diego also turning too ghetto. El Cajon, National City, Chula Vista - pretty much almost all of San Diego south of the 52 has gone ghettofabulous. Too many thugs, gangsters, car theft (hey, we're right next to Mexico). In fact, almost every apartment complex here in the luxury of La Jolla gets about 2 cars stolen *PER MONTH*.

So I won't be feeling too bad moving out SD into high-flyin' college town of Ithaca this August!
