make the mature decison, and get out, sounds like you cannot afford the payments.. don't dig yourself a hole.

take the 3k hit now,a nd start saving cash.

yeah getting out is the mature decision. for me, it wasn't being able to afford the payments or not. it was not wanting to increase my current monthly auto expenses. in this case, the ~$600/month. i could be doing something else with the money than dumping it on nice cars.

yeah i'm in the process of getting the lease transferred over to someone else right now. this way, i don't have to fork out any extra money to cover the payoff.
