bro, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. The rear looks perfect, but the front has a big gap which bothers the shit out of me. I would just lower the whole car though. why do it half assed

I am in the same boat. I currently have H&R race springs, but the car is too low, especially with a driver and passenger in the car, the wheels are way under the wheel well. I wanted to run my stock rear springs, and do a equivilant looking drop in the front. Since it is obvious that BMW made the e92 fronts WAY higher than rear. I couldnt get any answers from anyone here as to if it would work or not, besides all this BS, and cant afford coils so I gave up on the idea

well...i picked up a set of Eibach Pro-Kit springs. i'm gonna experiment with this to see how well it fits. if it makes the back wheels rub, then i may have to go w/coilovers. i'll update what happens.

I finally got my car lowered. I used Eibach Pro-Kits. Much better than before fo sho! And the ride is still nice.
