I bit the bullet...repaired a dozen door dings.
Well, at least THOUGHT it was going to be painful. I bought it 4 years ago with about 4-5 dings and accumulated 7-8 more over the last 4 years. The straw that broke the camel's back was a box fell onto my trunk lid 2 days ago, dinging it . Drove down to the nearest paintless dent removal shop to have the ENTIRE car cleared of dings. Why the hell did I not do this sooner? $100 and about 1.5 hours to fix every single one. Looks like a new car. The pulled it out of the bay and we did a walk around, found 3 tiny ones that I missed when dropping it off, they fixed them on the spot.

That's awesome news! I'm going to look for a shop near me if that's all it cost!

I honestly thought it was going to be way more, that is why I waited so long. When he fixed the 3 we found after they were done, it only took him about 15-20 minutes for 3 dings. Its a small business that gets most of its business from insurance companies doing hail repair.

Going to need one myself sometime soon- one on the roof, and one on the trunk, though I doubt anybody's going to touch the hardtop |

$100? I blow my nose with $50's!
Actually when I did it at the dealer (free) both times the person doing it said they would do it for half or about $70 per panel. |

I asked if they charged by the panel but he said that it depends on the damage. These were all very small dings with no paint damage so that is why he quoted a single price for all the dings. I should have watched him correct the 3 dings he fixed while I was there. I have NO idea how he fixed them so quickly. Now I just need to replace the front bumper cover that is chipping so badly from a piss poor respray (before I bought it).
