DISA valves on 3 stage manifold are working without any software update. They improve your torque curve. I had my car on dyno after I installed the manifold before the tune. There was no hp gain but I had torque gain in low RPMs and torque curve flattened. The guy who did my custom tune told me that 3 stage manifold is there mainly for smoothening torque curve.

How was your experience with the tune with the intake manifold?

The tune fits the intake perfect. I can also confirm what BudVlad said. The intake works without any software changes.

$499

http://www.procedetuning.com/328i/OFT/index.html

Still way less $$ than other competitive tune that offers some of the same features. OFT includes a supplied unit that allows you to flash tunes to your car at any time from comfort of your driveway, data log, clear codes, reset adaptations, ability for user to make own tune files, etc.

At $499 it is still more than $300 cheaper than the other tune (normal pricing) that offers some of the same features, & ~$150 cheaper even when that tune is on sale - so IDK why Shiv would make it any less $$ at this point...

$499 is already right at very good price point for what you get - if you want to pay less, go with BMS PBX, but of course it has very limited features.

OFT was offered at $399 when it was 1st released (when I got mine) as an incentive to buy a new product on the market - which was a steal

Gotta pay to play

You guys are quick. We uploaded a the wrong application to our website a couple hours ago. It's not OpenFlash Manager. So if you installed it this morning, remove it (control panels->add/remove program) and delete the folder. Otherwise, it will interfere with OpenFlash Manager. A new OpenFlash Manager (v1.07.1) is now available. There is no season to update to it. At least until we release the new feature update (hopefully within the next couple of days).
Any news on the mentioned feature update? There are some updates to the template and the OFT version but w/o any changelogs yet.

There's also group buys for the OFT for other models of cars (the FT86/BRZ forums have a running group buy on the OFT), which I think are cheaper than the $499 price. Pretty sure you can purchase any OFT and just load up the correct template for the N52 and use it with your vehicle.

Vishnu would need to validate that, but I'm pretty sure that's what they've said before, once you have the OFT you can use it on different vehicles (like if you sold your BMW and bought a BRZ/FR-S you could still use the OFT with it.)
