Hello friends,

In 72 hours I will be following Will Ferrell's example and quitting facebook.

I mean let's face it Facebook went down hill after loosing the "The"

I want to let you know that as I think it's important you should all know exactly what I am doing.

You will no longer get updates on my location, favorite foods, memes, puppy jokes, what I ate last night, who's upset me and of course Jokes

Oh and NO fake a$$ birthday wishes. Who want's to cheap out and buy a birthday card when you can just blow 2 sec's on a reply.

You can still get me on this wonderful thing called a "telephone", or even gmap to my house for a coffee.

Why not even write me an email or go the whole 9 and write me a letter.

BP is a whole lot better than Facebook. I spend maybe 15 minutes on Facebook per day, maybe. BP...probably at least an hour.

I thought about joining about ten years ago, but then I realized that everyone I keep contact with, I try to keep less contact with. Do you members really like your relatives or why the fuck did you join?

For me, curiousity when it first came out. And then I just let it ride, I don't really care about it anymore, and never bothered with IG, Twitter, etc. Just time wasters. BP already sucks up enough of my time.

Yeah, I like this forum too, and before this it was IRC for me. I like reading what a stranger has to say and to argue with people I have nothing in common with more than I like reading what my friends are up to. They'll call me if they want to, if I can find my phone.

Btw I showed your milk post to my kid. He didn't recognize all the words you used so I was kind enough to translate your words to a form where he too now is more willing to hate Canadians.

Just kidding, he thought it was cool you took the time to reply to him. Canada scored yet an other cool point.

I only use FB for BMW parts classifieds...otherwise I am completely inactive. I have actually purchased AND received parts through FB groups. If not for those groups, I would close my account as well.(can only view those classified groups if you are signed in.)

I suspect that you have a lot of drama on FB. If you really didn't want it, you would not even post this.
