WTF turns them around - girls
So my 7 year old daughter is a gem,
I'm sometimes mean (in a daddy way) I tell her off, loose my temper, scold her, time out's punishments. I'm even sometimes wrong and she get's it for me. I'll even get the pouty, upset look, the tantrum crying sometimes the full 9 yards BUT regardless of what I have done every night I get the "daddy tuck me in", get the biggest hug and a kiss ever. In the morning she's all brightness and light. TBH I've felt guilty about something I've said to her, and I'll say "sorry" she'll turn round and say either "why" or "That's ok" SO please help me to understand why, oh why oh why, do these angels, with no permanent memory or malice turn into fire breathing, pig dog, demon hounds of hell, who will rip your face off for not putting down the toilet seat Never letting you forget what "you told them last night" and holding a grudge for years. Godforbid you end up sleeping on the couch. Fcuk what happens to them. seriously.... I was playing with ML yesterday, looked at daughter, looked at OH and thought. WTF, is she going to turn into a mad blazing maniac like the rest of her gender? |

She's probably still hungry for that wonderful grilled cheese sandwich you couldn't stop talking to her about 6 months ago. She's just hangry.

The funniest part about parenting is when we get to send them to the grandparents for a day or two, and get a report that they were angels there and when we get them home they're kicking and screaming little shits.
The kids don't have the ways to understand that we love them unconditionally. They at some level feel abandoned for even the smallest things and their way to convince themselves we truly do love them even when we are ready to sell them to the inlaws is their tantrums. It's kind of cute and at the same time so fucking annoying but one day they grow up and move out and we die of boredom so let's enjoy them now. Beer also helps. The trick is that you drink it AFTER they go to beds in silence. Just switch the words for kid to a husband and you understand why women are what we are and it's all your fault. If that doesn't help just look at any male who's over 35 and still looks like a human and you understand why we hate you.

I just want to confirm you guy's are understanding, I dont have a problem with my daughter, just the
"fire breathing, pig dog, demon hounds of hell females" they turn into and why they turn from Angels into fcking monsters |

some of the funniest times me and daughter have, is when we fart, we blame each other, laugh at the noises, see who can make the loudest, smelliest ones.
Other day, little un, went and sat with mom on the sofa, dropped an egg and ran over to me, we both pissed ourselves laughing If looks could kill man !!!!!!!! |

I swear my wife has the most organized mental filing system know to man. She can pull up a file on any possible thing I have ever done in my lifetime and I swear she somehow logged into and uploaded my mother and grammar school teacher Sister Lucile memory banks.
Bottom line is they are just like every mobster I have ever met , they never forget a grudge, and you have to pay the VIG until your dead.
