Ok my friend has a 06 350z with Injen exhaust and Injen Cold air. I raced him with my stock 335i from a dig and by the time i hit the middle of my 3rd gear he was already 6 - 7 cars behind. He smokes G35 coupes all day long. He recently had his exhaust removed and we did a race with him, me and my friend with a SRT4 (not stock) the SRT was right behind my bumper, and my friend with the Z said he was about 10 cars behind by the time we hit 100mph. BTW the SRT has Full Mopar exhaust, high flow cats, cold air intake, short shifter, motor mounts, upper and lower inteercooler piping and HKS BOV. I acctualy thought he was going to take me by acouple cars, i was impressed with my car.

Im thinking of doin a electronic custom cut out on my car. They are asking $450 including labor and parts. Anyone else thinking about it?

I think Infinity/Nissan overates their motors or they just lose too much power in the drivetrain. How can they claim 306hp and be so different from the IS350 and 335?

I smoked g35 with my 545i. From stop the guy was next to me up to 80mph after that I just walked him hard, from roll he had no chance at all. G35s are nice cars, but they are not that fast.

I dont even know why im contiuniing this discusion though lol, i bought the G cuz its nicer car not cuz its faster. Its fast enough for everyday driving.

My drag car is actually a civic that will smoke absolutly any car on this site lol.

His Z isnt automatic, and his the one that told me he was that far behind I was'nt even paying attention to him during the race. I acctualy did'nt even know he was racing with us until he said he was. I was just paying attention to the SRT4, which by the middle of 3rd gear started creeping up on me very slowly and steadily. We let off about 4 sec into 4th gear and he went from my bumper to where my door starts and thats when he left off.

Im not saying anything bad about the Z, before i got my Evo i was begging my parents for a Z but they didnt want me to have a 2 door at the time because the insurance was going to be very high. Once i turnd 18 i got the Evo and now at 19 i got the 335i. I still love the 350z, it just gives wayyyy to many problems. My friend has 10k miles on it and his cars at the dealer getting its 3rd tranny put in. His lemoning it out, dealer is doing their "investigation" right now.

nah i made the right choice, and everyone of my friends agree. In fact they were pretty mad at me when i thought i was gettin the 335i sedan. The coupe is hot looking though i cant lie.

Like i said i didnt buy it to be a race car, its more then fast enough for everyday driving....all you procedes want a run....run my civic.

There is an M3 with 1000 hp on this site...

I don't think you will absolutely smoke that....

Don't come here with your cheap ass modded Civic...it doesn't matter how many horsepower you have in that thing...it will never look, feel or drive as good as a BMW.

There is always someone out there with a faster car...perhaps you'd like to race my friends 8.7 sec. 1/4 mile Camaro.

I rather own a slow BMW than a 1000 hp Civic.
