Radar blockers (jammers) are illegal, there are laser jammers that are legal. And no it doesnt have either, if you want a laser jammer you need t get the k40 it dont come with a jammer either but it has the option to add one.

NO, radar detectors are not cop detectors. They detect radar or laser waves not a black and white car with a light bar on top. So for example if a cop is not using radar and is using VASCAR (where the pace you basically) which involves not electronic waves the radar detector will not make a noise. Radar detectors are not a substitute for common sense and using your eyes on the road.

Hmmmm...if you want to spend 450 on a radar detector knock yourself out.

I spent 299 on a Beltronics 965 including hard wire installation.

So far so good....works like a charm.

+1000, 495 is not bad for a quality piece of equipment it saved me 2 times yesterday in MIA

Ive always hear4d rave reviews on the val. 1 systems and yes you can get a radar laser system. Its called a scorpion radar blocker not legal but if you can get hideaways they have to prove you have it. and the hideaways do a good job of pulling them out of site. however they cost 1500 for the package and have to be sold under the table. best bet get a K40 or Val 1 with the K40 laser jammer. I have RMR laser radar jammer and I think it works. but some ppl claim it doesnt. havent gotten one single ticket with it installed and I have passed several cops @ 90mph and didnt even slow down. I have even driven behind several cops and watched them tinker with their car mounted radar guns because the RMR system supposedly disrupts their radar signal and gives false readings. But I could just have blind luck.

Agreed. Between fines and the increase in insurance premiums from it, you'll spend that much on 1 ticket and you still won't have a V1.

Nothing by RMR or Rocky Mountain Radar will jam laser or radar and their radar detection sucks.

Cobra and RMR (Rocky Mountain Radar) make the worst performing and cheapest radar detectors in the U.S.

The Valentine One is still the #1 radar/laser detector.

I mean the new STI by beltronics is really good they have tons of great features and it competes with the v1, but im an Arrow guy and always will be.
