wrecked exotics on the rise - news article

long article with a lot of interesting information. This is good for those of you who may think you're invincible in your BMW (albeit not an exotic)

Eddie Griffin did the same with a Ferrari Enzo.

It's amazing how these guys spend 6 figures or more on a car but wouldn't spent a few days and a few thousand dollars on "learning" to drive these performance cars.

These are the idiots that make my Quattroporte expensive to insure. These people should have to post bond instead of making stupid choices that affect my bottom line.

What's exotic about a Z8? I think BMW is probably one of the very few car
manufacturers that doesn't build an exotic car.

The fact that it was a limited produced car with a base of 120k makes it decently exotic. Thats like saying the GT isnt exotic because Ford makes it.

In my opinion the Z8 wasn't trully an exotic car with its questionable driving
and handling characteristics and the absence of an LSD. It was more of a
roadster for me.

And it stopped being produced in 2003 if I'm not mistaken so my other sentence
holds true - that BMW is one of the few companies that doesn't manufacture an
exotic car. Or a supercar for that matter.

Indeed that's an exotic car and a supercar by all means. But not in production
anymore. BMW doesn't currently have in production or at the present time
manufactures an exotic car or a supercar.

They do, just not under the BMW brand: Rolls Royce Phantom.

Did I burst your bubble that BMW is not an exotic? Is the ego bruised a little? And I love your argument because you just committed a logical flaw. Please look up "Argumentum ad hominem" and study some philosophy before making another argument.

holy shit. are you joking? are you actually pulling out philosophy 101 material.

well according to my calculations, you sir stand guily of committing "argumentum stopbeingaraginghomo", also known as the "fallacy of being a douche".

way to go professor, youre right, i was attacking you, the fact that youre such a whiny jackass that you pointing out that "BMW isnt an exotic" completely ignored the fact the OP already mentioned it in the first post. Study some not-being-an-idiot before making another argument.

and yea dude, you totally busted my bubble by opening my eyes to the fact that my $44k entry level 3 series isnt an exotic. whats next, are you going to tell me santa claus doesnt exist?

So is this a thread about idiots wreaking expensive cars, or whether a BMW is an exoctic car or not, or people making words up to insult each other.

Anyway if this about people wreaking expensive cars there is another threads on this subject, and all the reasons present why teenagers should not drive fast cars in those threads apply to people who have more money then brains. They are clueless about these cars and what they can do and just drive them into walls.
