Wow, Warren Buffet drives a Cadillac DeVille... considering it consumes just as much gas a Hummer H2, I don't think thats a smart financial obligation.

Don't ever think that these "old Folks" don't appreciate their cars. The reason these "old Rich People" have these cars is because they appreciate the design, engineering, and performance many of them represent.

Lots of these folks are depression era survivors, so don't think for a minute that they do not appreciate everything they've got.

I know he does, I mean the 60 year old ladies with the 760, trust me they never go over 55mph, you could swap out the v12 with a V6 and they would not notice. I realize my first post was not clear in separating RL vs other old folks.

Many do, but many don't. agree that some do appreciate them but i feel that most buy them because its the most expensive. a status symbol, they don;t care or know about many of the high tech features such as active suspension. What the hell is a 70 year old really going to do with an f430. I really doubt he'll have it race mode pushing the lateral g limit of the car around a track. More like going 25pmh to the country club to park it in the handicap space and then complain to his friends of the harsh ride.

Mr. Wynn is an exception to most of these people, he's a really cool guy and pretty down to earth got to hang out with him for a bit at the Wynn opening party

Your argument makes no sense. A car guy is a car guy no matter how much is in their bank account.

the thing is everyone appreciates a car for a different reason.

i know a guy who has a sick collection, never drives them, drives a pick up everyday, but likes having them in his garage as in "i bought these, i accomplished this."
