While most of Florida is straight roads, there are tons of country back roads that make for great road trip fodder.

Also if you ever do drive in FL, the roads west of Daytona in and around the Ocala National Forrest are gorgeous and some are even a bit curvy. There must be at least 10 corners in that area, which is more than probably the rest of FL combined when you exclude circular freeway onramps...

Also second North Carolina/Tennessee... Just beautiful up there all around.

I started a thread a while ago hoping to compile info on great roads in any state ... It didn't take off but while we're on the subject if you have ideas, feel free to add to that list!

I fckn love driving. I usually always say "I'LL DRIVE" if I'm with someone and we want to go anywhere. I don't know what it is. I love the 12 hour drive up to Michigan from NC, especially this time of season when the leaves are changing.

I will admit though, I am addicted to having a bike. There's just something about riding and putting the handle bars down to the pavement in a tight turn that makes me all hard and excited.

I love living in TX because I can get access to all of the road types described in here (minus high mountain ones) VERY easily. We have a lot of everything. Especially in and around SA. The Texas Hill Country provides the twisties and just east of here is the SH 130 Toll Road for finding out just how fast that car will go in a straight line.
