There were pictures in the post. And you are totally contradicting yourself in the quoted portion. If you can't tell there's not a billfold-type area for your money to go in without folding it, I dunno what to say....

He didn't mislead you at all; your post even confirms that. Whether or not he's a douche for not wanting to take it back, I'd have to say he's not being a douche. He really doesn't HAVE to do anything to rectify a situation that he didn't create...

Hope you get it worked out though. Sorry to hear you've got a useless wallet now.

Ehhh I can see both standpoints..... unfortunately this ultimately falls on you and your lack of research/insight when you bought it. He supplied very clear pictures and the name....googling it returns pictures of other bifolds as well (with no ability to hold money).

I can see your point of view, but unfortunately it's still your fault.
As someone who sells things on a regular basis...sometimes that $10 'profit' just isn't enough after dealing with all the 'tire kickers'.... he may have just wanted it gone.

He may be acting like a bit of a douche, but there's nothing you can do about that. Unfortunately I think you need to chalk it up as a lesson learned

i guess there is contradictions from my rant but either way, weather he purposely described it misleadingly to me misunderstanding, it's the outcome that matters.

he didn't state the name of the wallet in his post, just mentioned it is a wallet and like everyone else i would assumed it carried cash.

from forum member to forum member this ain't no ebay shit. i offered him a very generous solution and to fucking not even get a reply is just fucked up shit. to me he is just ignoring me right now. a simple reply back will do wonders.

tbh i had a gut feeling to ask him for more pics of the wallet and a second gut feeling was to meet up with this dude for local pick up. but i have to cross a bridge to see him which is $8 anyway so shipping would be better to save me the hassel.

but the moral is how the situation is handled and resolved and hopefully it is done with logic of a simple misunderstanding and not some bull shit.

i bought and sold many shit on the forums and i never had this type of bs transaction where the seller won't even reply to my PM after transaction. hell yea it is a lesson learned, watch shit close & when possible always do local pick ups, even if i have to pay $8 toll and $10 gas...

You can tell in the pics it doesnt hold money by the stitching. If you had more questions you should have asked to be sure. I have to side with the seller.

On this one I side with the seller and from my experience so will Paypal, don't even waste their time on this one, he showed photo's, you had the option of asking your questions or asking for more photo's and you purchased on face value and now have buyers remorse.

It's people like you who make selling online such a pain in the ass at times.

Having said that, my policy is if you don't like it then return it and pay a 20% re-stocking fee + all shipping charges. If you want to return something without charge shop at fucking walmart!

Haven't carried money in a wallet since I was 14. I have a small cartier card holder for my credit cards, identification, and business cards. Cash in a rubberband.

The price tag says what design the wallet is. It's the buyers responsibility to do adequate research into a product before buying it.

I know you've been sworn, sir. I have read your complaint.

Given the fact that the defendant clearly displayed photos of the wallet in his listing and provided a description as it appears from the manufacturer, I find that he is under no obligation to provide a refund.

Case dismissed.

Honestly, that looks like a very nice card case. If you don't want it I would consider buying it from you. How much?

Sorry OP, due to the responses from this thread it looks like the seller doesn't owe you anything, although he may be acting like a dick for not answering your PM's post-transaction.

You must need glasses cuz in both of the pictures with the "wallet" open you can easily tell there is no slot to put cash into.

I side with the seller. Just use the wallet and be happy. Who carries cash around anyways? Only 3 places cash is necessary... 1. Vegas 2. taking a cab 3. strip joint and bars

this is the perfect "wallet" to go out to bars, clubs, etc. no need to carry all the junk in your wallet when you hit the town. keep your cash in your pant's pocket or stick it in the wallet's pocket.
