I have an extremely light shimmy in steering wheel between 74-79. I have had the car aligned twice and wheels balanced 3 times. Every time I take it somewhere they freaking say they have to check the easy thing first and want to charge me to balance it again. I have lifetime balance on the wheels so I'm tired of paying these shops to balance them and say problem solved.

My guess is the meyle HD is too sensitive to the road or I have another wore out part but no one can find it.

My money is on a worn out suspension component.
