e90 pre-Lci Halogen to pre-Lci Xenon help needed

So my 328i got hit by a bus the other day and is in the body shop now. I have a pair of Pre-Lci Xenon headlights w/ AHL (bulbs,ballasts & moduls) that I wanted to upgrade to later , but I might have to do it sooner. I plan to use the xenons only , no intention of using the AHL feature at all. My goal is to wire these or find a harness so I can just drop them off at the shop with the Low/High & corner lights working. Ive search for a quite a bit and cant find anything particularly related to this. Ive seen other headlights here wired for plug and play drop in , this particular DIY http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...non+conversion was what I needed but all the pictures are gone , I tried search for this mythical Beta1 harness so i can drop in the headlights but i cant even find that.

Is there anyone in that can shed some light on my dilemna? I am In san diego and can work with someone local or pay for local coding.

Not 100% but I believe you'd still need to code it to function properly. Are you willing to part with one of your AHLs?

If you are talking about the AHL modules , id be willing to part with them after I get the car headlights going. I dont want to find out I might need it later

You have to add Adaptive Xenons ($522) to the Vehicle Order, and manually disable the Adaptive checks that will show up in FRM. This will eliminate the adaptive (swiveling) feature of the headlights though

I wasn't asking about this , I was asking about the wiring for the xenons into a halogen car. I have ground something according to the other thread and I'm looking for wiring information so I can just get the lights working. I'll deal with the errors later

Speaking from experience, that isn't the ideal way to do it as you can damage your FRM module. But good luck I guess.

Code first.

I believe u can do a tap splice from the (female) connector, not from your headlight (male) connector. See if this helps. Gl just to give u an idea.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7
E A B C D
*
A = Gound
B = Low Beam
C = No Pin
D = Angel Eye LED Rings = Parking light
E = High Beam stay on for Xenon model
1 = Signal Light
7 = High Beam halogen for Halogen model

that is definitely the direction I am looking for. Which wire taps to what is where im drawing a blank? Would I take a wire from the wiring harness and run it directly into the wiring inside the head lights??

Your gonna tap two wires, for me it was E and 7. I say try that and go from there, keep me posted

Also everything your doin on the wiring harness itself, not from headlights, first try the E and 7
