Formula 1 Gran Premio Santander D'italia 2010

The last European race in the 2010 calender. Thanks to Bernie, this year we only had 9 Europe races out of total 19 races, as more races has been scheduled to Middle-East and Asia.
Good news for West Coast viewers that after the Italian GP, only Singapore and Abu Dhabi are scheduled to start at 5am pacific time.

hopefully LH can pull off another win, since this is the last track he should have an advantage and he needs all the points he can get, since it so close

I wonder how the number of engines is gonna affect the rest of this season since a lot of teams are on their 6th already and others in worse shape

Driver will be taking a 10 grid penalty for using the any engines that's not the allocated 8 engines for the entire season. For 9th engine onwards, everytime they use one will be hit with a penalty. This is what will happen to De la Rosa since Spa where he used his 9th engine.

Monza should be great, but I'm alittle excited to see how McLaren does on the tracks afterwards. If it is true that they have a new ignition retardation system, they should be pretty competitive with Red Bull now. That noise at Spa from Hamilton.. that could have been the impending drums for Red Bull on the rest of the season!

exactly, that's why engine management in the beginning of the season will have huge affect on the championship later in the final stretch....

Which Alonso is on a slightly disadvantage where he killed a few engines in the beginning seasons as well as Vettel. Also Button had a failure in Monaco due to crew mistakes...

If Korea is a go it will Suit Mclaren as well. It has one of the longest straights out side Europe.

Hey, have a related question: What do teams do with 'wasted' (not blown) engines??? Are they rebuilt, sold, used for something else, destroyed, recycled, or other? Just curious.

During the season, teams will bring some old-er engines for Friday practice sessions, so the fresh or new-er engines will be used on Saturday and Qualify parc ferme condition.

after the season or so, i would guess they will use it for demo cars and promotion cars like RBR always do on various city streets....

I've been biting my lip since I saw that pic. Seriously... he's worth how much and wearing Wrangler jeans?

He looks like a butch lesbian in this pic.
