firefox suddenly unhappy with site

Just today, I've started having trouble with using the "New Posts" button or going to a page beyond 1 on multipage threads. when clicking on page 2, 3, etc. I get a message

You have chosen to open:
showthread.php
which is a: PHP script
from: http:///www.e90post.com

What should Firefox do with this file?

(then I get the usual "open with" below)

is this a new problem with my laptop, or is something up with the site? Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of troubleshooting options as I also am at my parents' house for Thanksgiving which is in the middle of nowhere, no spare PCs laying around other than their archaic desktop, and a super-slow satellite connection.

Now it's most threads, or at least most of the unread ones. I don't seem to be having problems with any other web sites including several other forums that I follow...
