Brand New IS Totalled at Santana Row SJ last night

Heh, So my best friend works as a shift manager for Santana Row security. They get a call last night of a car speeding through the main street of Santana Row last night at about 50 Mph, blowing through the stop signs. When one of the security guards goes to the street to check it out he hears all this tire screeching in the back parking lot followed by a "BAM!!". The security guard phones SJPD and runs to the back lot, when he gets there he finds a brand new IS350 smashed into a pole after doing continuous of donuts! the driver stumbled out of the car drunk as PD shows up. when the cops asked him what he was thinking he said "I was just. .. " then booked it down the street through some alleys. The cops lost him, so they looked up the owner and it was cosigned by his girlfriend. They call the girlfriend down in the morning and she claims, "i don't know what happened, the car was parked here all night". PD's like, uh no it wasn't, we have the car on tape speeding down the street at 11 pm. her response ". . . . .", PD says "yeah i thought so, BTW tell your boyfriend we're looking for him" hahaha

I guess the front axel it totally f*cked and it's not looking good. note the dealer plates. he sent these to me with his camera phone, excuse the quality

Well he isn't the first, I made a thread about how there was a new white IS in the parking garage and a little while after I saw it and it was all smashed up on the side. I haven't seen it since then.

Very possible these days. Any serious damage to the unibody and you are in for a lot of repair. You have to disassemble the car to the bare body and play pull and tug. Expensive since it takes so much time.

Just look up the thread of the guy who had his BMW totaled a little while ago.

The IS350 is RWD. Even so, donuts in an automatic in which you can't turn off stability control? Idiot deserved what he got.
