Unhappy Double fatality in a BMW, San Diego

This happened right outside my daughter's high school, about 2:30 am last night:

Wow, you can see the guy in this picture. You think this is the injured passenger or the dead driver? I guess they're not as safe as some thought.

Thats crazy, a BMW can indeed make you feel damm near invincible at times.

There was a really bad crash a few years ago in Germany w/ a BMW employee driving an E60 5 of some kind, he some how got the car under the gaurd rail going at speed, got hit in the head, sent to the hospital where he later died. The damage to the car was insane. He was on his way to the scene of a fire, he was a volunteer fireman in his spare time.

That looks like a dead driver to me.

Sucks.... it's hard to resist testing the limits of these cars. Not everyone lives to tell the tale.
