Definitely a V12. I'm guessing a Murc or AM Vantage.

This is the Millbrook proving ground where all manufacturers test when in the UK, as do a lot of magazine and Fifthgear. It's the Apline test track and yes it is a closed course.

I would bet anything that this is not a C-GT. It's definitely V10 or I'm sure it's of Italian origin.

No way is it a CGT. That V10 is much, much higher-pitched sounding. Like you said, a V10 or some Italian V8 like a Ferrari (maybe, but I feel that's unlikely).

That's a Ferrari exhaust note IMO.

Sounds like an F430.

It would have to be the Ferrari F430 Scuderia because the Z06 already is faster then the regular one( using Top Gear's time and Sport Auto's 'Ring time).
But, idk trying to look up videos of it and while the lower RPM's seem to have the exhaust note down, it doesn't seem to get that high pitch as seen in this video in the high RPM's.

Well of what I am sure is that its AWD. I think its the Murcielago LP670-4 SV. But it may be the Gallardo LP560-4 or R8 V10. But by no way its the Gallardo LP550-2.

One thing I am still not clear thou is if its in the Millbrook, why is the steering wheel on the left side in the corvette? Generally, cars in the U.K have their steering wheel on the right side. Are all ZR1 Corvettes on the left side even for the UK?

Yeah, i think its AWD also. It handled the curves too smoothly to be RWD

I´m pretty sure its a NA high reving engine, but it could be a number of cars, Lambo, F430, R8 V10, etc... anyway, have no clue how one could possibly determine this is a all wheel drive vehicle from those vids. Plus, an all wheel vehicle would tent to understeer and that does not appear to be what is happening to the font car. All very, very speculative.

All Corvette's have their steering wheel on the left side. GM's reason is because it would be costly to reengineer the Y-Body to put the steering wheel on the right side. The problem may be rectified in the C7, but I guess GM as of now doesn't see the benefits of spending the money for little return in sales in Europe.

Drive an Audi R8 and then tell me that all awd cars understeer.

Though I agree that it's nil on impossible to tell for sure whether it's awd or rwd one thing is certain, it's a very quick car to contain a ZR1 behind it so the choice of possible cars is limited.

I'm still sticking with the opinion that it's Italian and probably a Lamborghini, I think it's a Gallardo but as you are hearding more engine than exhaust note I could be wrong and it's actually an LP670. It IS the most likely car capable of staying in front of the Vette.

That test track is where fifth gear does some of its car reviews, but most people recognize it from the james bond movie where he flips the DBS cause that chicks in the middle of the road
