BMW driving school car auctions

Does anyone know where BMW auctions off their driving school vehicles when they are done with them?

A better question is why the hell someone would want to buy a car that has the most insane and rough miles possible, most likely without a warranty as well

Because you can get them for pretty cheap. You can track the car or use it as a low mileage secondary weekend vehicle. You could drive it for several thousand miles, and still sell it for what you paid for at auction

That makes sense, as long as the next owner doesn't know that the car was driven so hard before. I guess I just dread the thought of keeping up with the maintenance on a beat to hell M car

I wouldn't sell the car to someone without them knowing the past. I was looking at buying a M coupe awhile back, until I found out that it had been a driving school vehicle. I found out that the car sold at auction for $19,000. It had 6,000 miles, and was less than a year old.It was 100% perfect cosmetically. I figured I could pick one up for around that price, drive it for a year for 10-15k miles, and then sell it. I bet I could get close, if not the full amount, to what I paid at auction with the right buyer.
