Someone help me with this POS iTunes!!!

so i got my 3gs today and im trying to put music can movies on to the phone but there is not 1 way i can find to do this. i have the latest version of itunes so if anyone can help me that would be awesome!

Not sure exactly where you're going wrong, but if iTunes has detected your iPhone then you should see it under DEVICES in the left hand column (right above PLAYLISTS). Once you click on your device, a summary of your phone should appear with tabs along the top, one which is MUSIC. Click on that tab and you can select the music you want on your phone, then sync it. Maybe I'm missing something...

I have the standard iPhone 3G, I don't expect the iPhone 3G S is any different. In that case, there should be a MOVIES tab as well.

are you trying to manually copy the music/movies?

in that case you have to plug in your iphone, click on it under Devices, then go to the General tab and check

[v] Manually manage music and videos.
