Oh boy, this has the setup of potential high drama and maybe disaster if you are a Vettel fan. I think we all know by now that Vettel is faster than WEB. We also know the history between these two drivers that come to a climax when Vettel passed Webber after being given explicit team orders not to.

Vettel better pass Webber early if he want to finish the race in one piece, if he tries to make a pass in the last laps he will very likely be put into the barriers. This could be exciting to watch...

And 2 backmarkers bounced out in the first turn. Bianchi and Van Der Garde. Something happened to Hamilton on the first turn. Back in P20. Grosjean blasted past Vettel and Webber in 1st. Webber 2nd and Vettel 3. Rosberg Massa, Alonso in that order.

Webber shortchanged again.. what else is new.

Good luck to Ricciardo next year. lol

Fun to hear fingerboi cry about traffic when he was nowhere near being reeled by Romain who was too busy fighting off Webber.

Decent race, good effort by WEB just took too much time to get by GRO. Tyre management by VET amazing as always.

He wasn't concerned about Grosjean. He knew Webber was going to be quick on the options and didn't want back-markers fucking up his drive. It's good race savvy not 'crying'.

Seb ran a great race.

Congrats also to GUT's first F1 points for P7

WEB robbed by RBR. Patient and controlled race by Vettel. Overall pretty boring race with pit stop passes.

I didn't think the tire on HAM's car should have been that fragile VS VET's front wing? I was hoping for a good show. GRO had a great drive today.

Meh. Getting sick of hearing Diffey get so excited about Vettel winning, like there was any question that would happen during the last few laps. I know it's his job, but his excited yelling wears on me. I'll take Varsha any day.

Back in the day folks would trash Ferrari for screwing Rubens out of a win. Now RBR is doing it. The difference between Vettel and Schumi is that Schumi was always cool as a cucumber on the radio. Vettel gets squeaky.

This was another good race even though the same patterns emerged once again. Championship is still alive!

Oh man....I'd like to see Webber chasing down Vettel with fresher tires.
That'll be exciting final laps of the race.

But just like Hulkenberg and Hamilton in Korea. The Lotus has a better getaway from the chicane. Also, what a fantastic drive from Grosjean and excellent start!!

Nonetheless, I don't think Vettel will put up too much flight with Webber. Since Seb has a healthy lead, and still finishes ahead of Alonso and Raikkonen. There's no need to risk a DNF, he will race smarter now, and much more patience now.

First stint by Webber stuck behind Grosjean set the fate of his three-stop strategy. While Seb fell behind and nursing the tires, Mark used his up sooner than expected.

I'm more tired of them talking about pitstop times. "Wow!!! I'll be that's in the 2 seconds". 2.9s. We get it, just shut up already.

So we have India up next. It wont be on the schedule again until 2015.
Apparently they had over 7 thousand people volunteer as marshalls but could only choose 650 of them. It'll be the first time in 3 years (since the track opened) that it's been an all-indian marshall force. Oh, Seb holds the track record here too lol

Sure, but have you seen Rush yet? I was almost out of my seat, yelling at how long the pit stops were taking!! It really is just short of miraculous they get these cars cycled so fast.

I haven't, that's def on my to do list. I remember specifically a few races ago, he said "WOW, that was an incredibly fast pitstop". I think it was Renault. Ended up being 3.2s.

The only person I like out of that crew is Will Buxton haha.

It's hard for us to understand how dangerous F1 was back in the 70s. Imagine Vettel coming into the pits early and just getting out of the car because he thought it was too dangerous to continue.

Everything was way more casual and disorganized. It's definitely improved a great deal.

There's a recent article in the Guardian about the 1982 season. Bananas

Can you imagine if technology was allowed to progress unfettered and without all the rules and regulations we have today? We'd be watching driverless cars. It would be too fast and 9+ g's of force.
