Its all good to talk about which car we would take. Its entertaining...but not really reality because one care costs 100k and the other one costs an estimated 300k. Many of us can afford a 100k car, but very very few can afford one that costs 300k.

ZR1 is significantly quicker than the SL in every category. Plus it looks much better to boot....

I´d say this is true if the only thing that matter is performance. However, if your looking for looks, uniqueness, feel, sound, etc... the SL would be my choice.

I can assure you communication from vehicle to person and vice versa is much better in the ZR-1, looks? That's subjective I think the ZR-1 looks bad-ass... SOUND ARE YOU KIDDING?! You're going to try and knock the sound of a ZR-1? and uniqueness? Sure if you want to be seen as a ballin yuppie who bought the most expensive thing to make up for a tiny peener.

Ok, Ok, then I suppose I am a "ballin yuppie who bought the most expensive thing to make up for a tiny peener".

All I can say in this matter is, "to each his own", I respect that you would rather have a ZR1, I think it is a fantastic car and have seen it in person, but doesn´t do it for me like the black.

Well then you should kill yourself, you obviously don't think how I do so you no longer matter. I'd just thought I'd let you know that my word is law and you broke it, you must die now via your slashing of wrists with an ice bath to follow... it's the only way. I hope the black was worth it.

Me either. For the price, there are lots of other alternatives that sound way better.

THe ZR1 with the right driver is a 10sec car. Its faster than the s65 and s65 black series in acceleration. It is easier to drive the merc so it may beat the ZR1 more often than not in the 1/4 mile because its so hard to launch the ZR1 and the benz is an auto. I would not take either benz because I have to drive a stick. I HATE AUTO no matter how fast the car is. DCT,DKG, F1 that is a diiferent story. How is benz so stupid that they do not put a seq. gearbox in the balck series or better yet a REAL STICK?
