Well, she and I both hate how the IS looks, inside and out. We also don't have a local Lexus dealer nearby. I also give her 99% of the info when it comes to car shopping, and the IS-F doesn't fair too well imo. I mean, it's okay, but it's not as nice as an M3 or C63 which can be had for less $$$.

you do not want an IS-F, ge the c63 or an M3... hell, or just wait till the new RS4's come out... but NOT an IS-F

really? the IS-F is only 60k fully loaded, the c63 is less? the bmw dealerships in my area are charging 72k for the m3 coupe and 69k for the sedan which is a bit more than i want to spend after tax. how much did the c63 cost you if you dont mind me asking?

IS-f similiar equipped is atleast 4k cheaper than the C63 or M3, c63 has GG charge of 2100 and M3 GG is 1300, but still the C63 is one bad car

I think it'd be a gamble.

You could be buying a used M5 that was bought and wasted by a yuppie, or one that was owned by an enthusiast. The latter wouldn't be too preferable if ya know what I mean.

I also heard on this forum that you can't buy any late-used M cars as CPO'd models anymore, so no more CPO warranty.

what does that mean? the warranty is not transferable? it should still be covered for up to 50k miles or 4 years right?

Yes, you'll still have some factory warranty left, but usually on a used BMW from the dealer you get the car Certified Pre-Owned, which covers it for 6 years/100,000 miles from date of initial purchase, so if you bought a 2-year old car, you'd get another 4 years of coverage.
