Not sure what line of work you're in mate, but I'm a consultant and nice, (darker) jeans are absolutely acceptable for business casual. Wear it with some nice shoes, good fitted shirt and a jacket and you're in good shape.

Yes, nothing wrong with a nice pair of jeans. I just happened to have a boss who did not allow jeans as business casual attire...

Yeah if you work for a start-up, in I.T. or sell coffee beans for a living.

Dark or not, jeans are not considered business casual wear if you work as a Financial Consultant.

Skinny jeans make you irritable. I wouldn't worry about it.

Fubu pants aren't business at all.....you need JNCO Jeans for true business apparel.

They aren't in I.T. either depending on the company you work for their dress policies. The pharmaceutical manufacturing co. I worked at in I.T. for 5.5 years was full business dress (shirt and tie) across the board 4 days a week (yes, they always had casual Friday where jeans were allowed) until right before I came to work there. Then it was business causal and, NO, jeans were not acceptable as "business casual" attire. The last company I worked for was full shirt and tie every day. No one gave a fuck that you were "I.T." You were expected to measure up as well.

At our casual Friday's, pants are optional. I usually go with the Walter White look.

Got them in today. Love them! Great quality khakis, and the fit of the slim and slim straight are perfect.

They're actually a bit longer than other 36" inseam pants I've bought in the past, which is perfect, so if they shrink, they'll be perfect fit.

I used to wear JNCO back in the mid 90s!!!! lol
Come to think of it, what was i thinking
But whoever thinks khakis are out of fashion, you just are not in that type of business to understand. So please do not say jeans are the way to go.
Its like you go into a hospital and say all the doctors should wear nice jeans, not scrubs or something because jeans will pull it off just fine when done right.
Of course when jeans are worn right, it could look.. say "nicer", but there are times that you just cannot wear jeans.
