Tickets and points.

Hello i have a question that requires someone who knows.

Ok here is the senario.
I had 9 motor vehicle points. On June 27 i was going to get 3 points back because i was driving good for a year come June 27....

June 1st i get a ticket for following to close (which is total bull shit i didn't do that). That's 4 points i think.

So i called days before the court date check box date and told them i wanted to go to court. They said they will mail me a court date.

They did for July 12... So for some reason i though dmv would give me my 3 points back in july 27 and rescedules the court date again... This time they scheduled to july 25... Although i was pissed i called DMV and they said i currently have 6 POINTS.

Ok so they did give me my 3 points on June 27th!!! SOOoooo.

I plan to go to court, and do the NO point system thing where i pay for them not to put points on my drivers licence, and then take the drivers course thing to bring it 2 points more and i'll end up with 4 points this year.

My question is, if i do the no point system and it's good, will they give me back my points since violation date was before they gave me my 3 points back?.. or will it be based on how many points i have now, and i will stay at 6 points after court?

I feel like I had to take notes to try to understand it and I'm still just as confused.

May I ask where in NJ this is from?

I got the ticket in livingston.

it's simple. had 9 points
got pulled over and ticketed
got 3 points back from dmv because of driving ticket free for a year
Now have 6 points
set up a court date and will do no point system
will the no point act from the 6 points i now have, or be traced back since i had 9 points when i got ticketed

You currently have 6 points.

Do you think they'll figure out you had 9 points when you got the ticket (4 points) and add it to the 9 you already had, to equal 13 points ?? Is 13 points enough to lose your license in NJ ??

all my points have been when i was 18-22... For simple stuff.. Turning on yellow light cop says red... Stopping at stop sign, cop says i didn't. I avoided a huge pot hole, cop says rekless driving, etc.... I'm serious i drive good, just cops always fuck with me...

yeah right now i have 6 points.. So i'm wondering if i do no point system, will it stay at 6... or will they say, this happend before we gave him is 3 points back let's do no point system based on 9 points (which is what i had before they gave me 3 points back)

If the points were already taken off for good driving for one year, why would they penalize you for something that was taken off of your record?

Did I understand this correctly? Correct me if I'm wrong.

No, the points you were to have recieved for your last ticket will not be assessed if you attend that class and pay the courts. So what ever you have right now will stay as is....

BTW, I drive 120mph all the time on non-rush hour highways and never weave or change lanes. I NEVER tailgate and pretty much own the road while giving ultimate respect to the other vehicles and never invading their space.

Surface streets are just to dangerous to do anything other than drive normally and watchout for all the azzholes around you, people just don't know how to drive.

I have people in my car all the time and comment on how I just seem to avoid traffic and drive above the limits yet never seem agressive or irratating to other drivers. My best friend cannot beleive i have zero points on my license (7 years running) and he has 5.

He drives like a grandma and just makes really bad decisions when changing lanes and just driving along. He is not intuitive nor cognizant of his surroundings. He thinks driving bad is breaking the speed limit... I can't be in the car with him driving, I feel unsafe !!!!

If you have 9 points, your a BAD driver and perhaps you need to become a Driver instead of a occupant of your vehicle...!

Have a read: http://www.racingflix.com/forum/foru...=1719&get=last

At 120 mph, you're travelling 176 feet per second. With a see-decide-react time of 1.6 seconds you travel 282 feet, 9/10 the length of a football field. You can invade their space very quickly.
