Anyone that has Comcast with a DVR box

Check your monthly statement carefully.

I just examined mine and saw a $4 charge for converter box, and then an additional $11 charge for the DVR box.

I called them on it and questioned why I was being charged twice for the same thing. They asked me how far back it went(luckily I keep all my monthly statements and receipts for 3 yrs) and had the original one from when I moved in over a year ago.

They didnt question it, apologized for the mixup, and refunded me over $50!

I told my local friends and family about it, now Im telling you.

Yeah, they did that once on my bill and immediately credited my account.

But then again, Comcast sucks anyway.

Regardless, some of us have no choice. Not looking to turn this into a "my service provider is better than yours" discussion, just a headsup.

Oh, I know all too well. I can only get Comcast where I'm currently located so I have to deal with it. I thought Cablevision was bad when I was in Long Island but Comcast makes me actually yearn for it.

Heck, when I get back to NY I'm going for Verizon FiOS. My friend has it and it's absolutely amazing.
