I'm definitely getting one of these units. It's a great solution since I have L7 and no navigation.

Curious, I didn't actually read through all the threads, but what is video playback like, and what kind of media does this unit support? Thanks!

I just installed my N6 i got from jeff a few weeks back. Perfect fit and I have read every review and tips from the thread so install was quite a breeze, even the part on running the power wire to the battery. I ran the usb media to the glove compartment and the usb internet to the center receptacle. Everything works great except from some issues with the latest iOS which makes my bluetooth connection hang sometimes. Thanks jeff for the hassle free transaction 😊

Received my unit and did my installation! Took the opportunity to install my amp/sub as well.

Loving it so far!

If I had to make a complaint, I guess it would be that I'm not a big fan of the Dynavin ash tray replacement. It seems flimsy and cheap.

Ordered the metra replacement and will use that when it arrives!

No, mine does not have logic 7. I believe those are factory wires for the OEM bluetooth or Sirius had my car been equipped with those features.

I agree completely. The button relocator is definitely flimsy/cheap. It works so no complaints on that end, but it definitely doesn't look or fit like the stock tray.

I started with the Dynavin silver ashtray button re-locator - actually matched very well to the brushed aluminum console trim I currently have - was a PITA to get all the cigarette lighter stuff out of the OEM ashtray to put in the N6 unit, but I got it done.

I agree that the door mechanism could have been more robust - with those (2) flimsy springs & all

But it works (as long as you don't try to keep the lighter element in the socket & try to close the ashtray door - no worky.

I don't smoke so no need for lighter, but I liked having the xtra power port available.

I too have since switched to the Metra Button Re Locator with the nice little tray/shelf to store my phone. Lost the power port, but oh well...

Have the power port in the arm rest so I'm ok to ditch the ash tray.

I might have missed this, but does the unit support voice dialing? I push the steering wheel button above the answer button but it does nothing.

i don't have heated seats and the relocator kit looked so terrible that i just sacrificed the Hill Decline Assist button and stuck it behind the unit; keeping my oem ash tray and cig lighter

You need one of these (this one isn't in the best condition but its the only one I could find).
http://m.ebay.com/itm/190900532553?

I have an Alpine s920hd not the dynavin, but that is what I used to keep my heated seat buttons.

Is it plug and play with all e9x?

I would seriously consider that if it is!

Oh man I was trying to find one of those! Thanks I just purchased it! Then I can scrap that crummy tray replacement.

Unrelated note: Does anyone know how to disable the HVAC display comming up on the Dynavin when you change the temp/etc? My HVAC controls have an LCD, so it's just annoying being on the dynavin screen as well...

That's the way to go if all you have is heated seats - I have HDC and Rear Shade Buttons also - I'm not looking to shove those somewhere outta the way so I keep the button row
