Has the Economic Crisis affected your mods?

Hey guys, I was just driving today wondering if the economic crisis has prevented anyone besides from me in getting the mods I want for my car.

Yes... given the ways things have gone, I've definitely put some mods on hold.

I put off a Veyron, slumming it in an M3 for now.

I think we need to see lower prices for mods, haven't seen much discounting yet, like we're seeing in the rest of retail. Christmas is going to be a fire sale this year.

Come on vendors, want to move some stuff before we're everyone's disposable income is tapped out?

I've noticed alot of people arent buying parts like they were last year. Everything is being affected, not just mods. Ask any vendor on the forum and I bet they arent doing as well as last year aroudn this time.

I agree we need lower prices, the vendors on this forum tend to overprice their goods. Reason I know is b/c I first price items on this forum in hopes of supporting our forum sponsors....yet the prices I get elsewhere usually tend to be cheaper....go figure

Been trying to buy a damn CSL Trunk for the longest time. I still don't see it coming for another 2-3 months.

Sort of...... got rid of some too flashy items on the car and try to keep it more tamed and plain Jane.

Yes. I can't sell old parts like I used to.

So now when I mod...I end up accumulating a bunch of parts that I no longer use. Before, I could take into account some money that I could recover in time by selling off old parts. Made the new parts seem less $$$.
