Service Engine Soon light came on :(
I have a muffler delete and a catless downpipe installed so I'm hesitant to take it to the dealer. Anyone know if it would be an issue? I have no clue why it came up
Edit: I think it might be because of the catless downpipe, but it was installed like 3 weeks ago and I didn't have an SES light come on until now. |

+1 I'm FBO and Rallye is cool with me getting warranty work done. You should get a JB4 though. Makes the car faster and you have the ability to read and clear codes without wasting your time at the dealership.

Thank you for the help guys I really appreciate it. I'll invest in a JB4 to clear the codes. But if they hear how loud my car is at the dealership will they void the warranty?

I never understand people who get catless downpipes and not a tune. Seriously, what the hell is the sense in that? If you want sound, get an exhaust. If you want power, get a tune...and then go FBO. Downpipes do pretty much nothing with a tune besides give you a CEL.

Really. The OP removes the major part of the emissions system and doesn't expect the OBDII system, which was specifically developed to monitor the efficiency of the emissions system, not to throw a code.
Sorry if I hurt anyone's self esteem, but if you need to hit yourself in the head with a hammer just to verify it will hurt (after everyone and commonsense tells you it will), then there is a term for that... Dumb Ass. |
