Cleaning N55 Engine Bay?

Has anyone cleaned their N55 engine bay?

I'm gonna use P21S Autowash and some brushes followed by chemical guys black on black.

I wanted to get an idea on what everyone is covering up (alternator, electrical, etc.)

In all the engine bays I've detailed I've never covered anything.

Just don't soak the engine bay and use common sense

Here's a guide I did a while ago...

It's not a N55 engine but it's the same principles.

So, no need to cover alternator?
