If you run 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 you should be good to go
235/35/19 and 275/30/19 are better fits (rolling diameter wise) but you run the risk of rubbing especially if you have a coupe. That's all it really comes down to... It's not the tire sizes, it's the rolling diameter that matters.

Both of my xi's came stock from the factory with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. Not the same tire size but near same rolling diameter.

What tire sizes will Forgestar be sending if they are mounting tires too?

To get the best rolling diameter difference you will want 235 in the front instead of 245... Use the tire size calculator in the wheels section of this forum... it will show you the way...

same deal here man.. I'd say I'm lower by about 1".. I have a 12" W7 in a JL box, it weighs about 120 pounds total... I'm just gonna lower the front probably just a half inch when you and a passenger gets in though it looks pretty even actually, I just found this out because of course I always drive, but check it out

also reprod, i used the calc, thanks for the tip. the % difference between the 235 and 245 is only .3 of a % is that really an issue, i think the shop already ordered my tires

It would only be different springs up front, so the rear would react the same it does now.. and with ZSP, the sub, 18's and rubber band tires, I'm hoping it couldn't get any worse... it's like I'm playing frogger every time I drive down the road, I must look hammered cas I swerve around everything that looks like a pothole, I'm scared to death I will break a projector and my car will offically have down syndrome.. What is your box made out of? If its made out of MDF, trash it and make a new one out of 3/4" birch plywood. Its MUCH lighter and just as strong.

Other than that, I dont really see a way to lighten your load.

what I don't understand is that if your audio system weighs so much that your trunk drops 1-2', why would you get springs to lower it even more?

as far as the whole staggered set up goes, just use the calculator and get the % to less than 1%..nothing wrong with running staggered set up on xi's, as much as i appreciate people's knowledge on the board, stock sport package for xi's puts you staggered anyways so i'm sure somebody in BMW figured something out (not to say they're always right but i rather trust engineers over back yard mechanics)

kylekuu, relax man, im kidding, im running the correct tire widths so the rolling diameter is only .7% different. as for the audio, for the driving i do, my handling has not been effected (im not running the car at tracks), sure it may be a tad bit slower but nothing an AA tune cant fix. it has only dropped the rear about 1 inch if that, no different from riding around with 2 adults in the backseat

im not getting lowering springs, if i did i would only use them on the front, if that were to affect ride quality which it most likely would i would use them on front and rear but because lowering springs are stiffer the "rake" between the front and rear would be closer (gap between tire and fender similar to rear).

i love my car and would never change a thing!
